The Big 7 include all the big 5 animals with the addition of marine species both the southern right whale and great white shark are found around the South African coastline in some numbers, particularly off the coast of the Eastern Cape. GREAT WHITE SHARK

#Carcharodon carcharias , Also known as the white shark, white pointer, or simply great white, is a species of large mackerel shark which can be found in the coastal surface waters of all the major oceans. It is notable for its size, with larger female individuals growing to 6.1 m (20 ft) in length and 1,905–2,268 kg (4,200–5,000 lb) in weight at maturity.

#Panthera leo , Lions have a muscular, deep-chested body, short, rounded head, round ears, and a hairy tuft at the end of its tail. It is sexually dimorphic; adult male lions are larger than females and have a prominent mane. It is a social species, forming groups called prides. A lion's pride consists of a few adult males, related females, and cubs.

#Loxodonta , African elephants are a genus comprising two living elephant species, the African bush elephant (L. africana) and the smaller African forest elephant (L. cyclotis). Both are social herbivores with grey skin, but differ in the size and colour of their tusks and in the shape and size of their ears and skulls.

It is widely distributed in most of sub-Saharan Africa, but the historical range has been fragmented in the course of habitat conversion. Leopards have been recorded in North Africa as well.

#Eubalaena australis , The southern right whale is a baleen whale, one of three species classified as right whales belonging to the genus Eubalaena. Southern right whales inhabit oceans south of the Equator, between the latitudes of 20° and 60° south.[4] In 2009 the global population was estimated to be approximately 13,600.
BLACK RHINOCEROUS

#Diceros bicornis , Also known as the hook-lipped rhinoceros (Diceros bicornis) is a species of rhinoceros, native to eastern and southern Africa including Angola, Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Eswatini, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Although the rhinoceros is referred to as black, its colours vary from brown to grey. The White Rhino is a different species and is not part of the Big %.
AFRICAN BUFFALO

#Syncerus caffer , The African buffalo is a large sub-Saharan African bovine. The Cape buffalo, is the typical subspecies, and the largest one, found in Southern and East Africa. The forest buffalo is the smallest subspecies, common in forest areas of Central and West Africa, while S. c. brachyceros is in West Africa and S. c. aequinoctialis is in the savannas of East Africa.
